Leo Cheng didn't set out to become a Passivhaus enthusiast and building science expert, but when he lost his Altadena home to the Eaton Fire in LA, Passivhaus sort of found him. While organizing the rebuild of his home, Leo co-founded the grassroots community awareness organization ResilientHAUS with fellow total loss survivor Jaime Rodriguez to spread the word about Passivhaus principles and how they can help people rebuild more resiliently.
